Monkey Mind
I am all over the place. My interests are vast. I find it difficult making enough time to learn everything I am interested in. I have an active Monkey Mind!
Driven by creative moments. I have taken many deep dives into various topics. Most not deep enough to become an expert, but deep enough to have a good idea.
My latest Rabbit Hole excursion is deep into the evolving world of A I . Simultaneously fascinating and scary I am eager to stay ahead on this one,… but only time will tell. For now I remain committed to this journey.
In my day job I am the General Manager of New World Saigon Hotel, part of Rosewood Hotel Group.
I enjoy my work. Leading a team of dedicated and talented individuals is fun.
Yes, I said “fun”!
I believe creating a professional, engaging environment at work where people can laugh together and not take themselves too seriously is a key ingredient for success in hospitality especially. Allow people to be themselves, be authentic and lead with respect.
It’s quite simple really!
My other interests revolve around health, staying active,… trying to play Basketball for as long as I can , creating Something like Art, designing simple functional furniture and making music with new and exciting A I tools.
I feel I have arrived at a stage in my life where simplicity and minimalism are my idea of luxury as opposed to constant overstimulation by non essential nonsense.
Perhaps this is at least partially the result of being a father of two young children who are constantly creating a good amount of chaos around me. Being a father is difficult. While my abilities as a father are growing this is certainly the hardest job I ever had!
“Work in progress” is really the key phrase here. My entire self is an evolving project,… on my ever evolving website, nikoflow.com you can find some expressions of this project spilling over into the physical world.
Call it growth mind set or whatever you want, I believe once we stop doing and evolving we essentially die.
.... and I am just getting started.

Call it what you want… I am not going to explain this s**t!
